Trip cancellation and interruption caused by COVID-19, medical bills for treatment abroad, emergency evacuation and repatriation. For international per-trip plans, with an age limit of 70.

Cover for every kind of traveller.

Individuals: ages 18 to 70, covered per trip or annually for frequent travellers.
Couples: you and your spouse under one certificate. Cheaper and simpler than two separate plans.
Families: parents plus children from 45 days to 18 years old, or up to 23 if still in full-time education.
Seniors: dedicated plans for ages 71 to 80, because they deserve to travel with peace of mind too.

01 Can I buy travel takaful last minute before I fly?

Yes, right up to departure. But the trip cancellation benefit only applies if the certificate is taken at least 7 days before your departure date. Earlier is always better if you want the full protection.

02 Are pre-existing conditions covered?

No. Conditions you already know about before taking the plan, such as hypertension or diabetes, are excluded. New illnesses and accidents that happen during the trip are covered.

03 How long must a flight be delayed before I can claim?

A minimum of 2 full hours for the first payout, with additional allowances for every further 6 hours of delay. Keep the airline's written confirmation of the delay as proof.

04 Is the cover per person or per family?

Benefit amounts apply per person, per trip. A family plan covers each named member individually, so every traveller gets their own full protection.

05 Does it cover domestic trips within Malaysia?

Yes. Area 1 plans cover travel within Malaysia at a lower contribution. Ideal for local family holidays, work travel and festive season journeys.

06 What happens in a serious emergency overseas?

The takaful operator's 24-hour assistance line arranges your transfer to a suitable hospital, or repatriation back to Malaysia if needed. Evacuation benefits go up to RM 1,500,000 on the highest plan.
